Here is the first of two acts of reflection for Holy Week.

Churches Together in England has issued a call to prayer by asking everyone to light a candle at 7:00 p.m. on Mothering Sunday, 22nd March, as ‘a visible symbol of the light of life, Jesus Christ, our source and hope in prayer.’ For more details see www.cte.org.uk/calltoprayer

We have now received official advice which recommends that all events in Methodist Churches be suspended.

Our next steps will include making good use of this website (and other means of social media) to provide regular updates and alternative worship/devotional resources.

As well as exercising good pastoral care, we will make local arrangements to mobilise help for those self-isolating and support foodbanks and other networks. In such an uncertain time this can be a proactive way forward.
