Whitwell Methodist Church continues to witness to Christ in the former mining village in North-East Derbyshire which it has served, on its present site, for over 130 years.  A small but friendly group meets for worship in the Chapel at 10.30 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of the month, and via Zoom on the third.  

Alive to the challenges of ministry under present circumstances, our church retains the affection of the village; and the fellowship demonstrates profound care for its members and for the wider community in which it is situated.
